Our flight from Seoul landed around 10:45 PM and our flight to Bali departed at 9:30 AM the next morning.  So it wasn't really enough time to go into the city (where luxury hotels are prevalent and inexpensive) and after flying for 25 hours, we were just looking for a clean bed and a shower.  The Novotel is located on the BKK premises so was the obvious choice.

You can either take a shuttle which takes 5-10 minutes or walk through a maze of underground walkways.  We chose the latter and found it to be pretty simple.  We cleared immigration, grabbed our bags and headed down a couple of levels landslide to enter the walkway that takes you to the Novotel.

Once we reached the hotel, check-in was fast and we were up in our room in a few minutes.  The room was perfectly functional with a bed, desk, chair, and separate shower and tub.  Really everything you need for a quick airport overnight.

I had read that they stocked a ton of free water bottles in the room which we were looking forward to but we only found two bottles.  The AC in the room is powered by a room key and had been off all day so it did take awhile to cool off after we arrived given the heat in Bangkok.  We both took relatively cold showers to help us cool off.

Once we were organized for the morning, we both went to sleep and were able to sleep through the night.  Which is great considering the 14 hour time change from Denver.  The next morning, we went for a walk on the hotel grounds and explored the pool a bit.  For an airport hotel, it's really quite pretty and if we had more time, we could have definitely hangout for a bit.

At 6:45 we left the hotel for the walk back to BKK and our flight to Bali!
