After an easy flight from Male, we grabbed our bags from baggage claim and made a left to find the Crowne Plaza.  The hotel is attached to the terminal (terminal 3) and was super easy to find.  There was a bit of a line to check-in but once we were helped, we were checked-in by a friendly associate in a matter of minutes.  We made or way to up to the room which took a bit of brain power to find.  The hotel isn't fully enclosed so you're actually walking outside in the Singapore heat/humidity each tie you leave your room.  Not sure who thought that would be a good idea.

Once in the room, we were pleasantly surprised.  For a quick (12 hours) overnight, this hotel was perfect.  The room featured a comfortable bed, good size bathroom, and desk.

The bathroom had a couple of bottles of water and plenty of amenities.

We headed down to the pool area to checkout the awesome views of SIN's iconic control tower.

At this point, it was 9PM and we had an 8AM flight the next morning.  We grabbed a cab into town for dinner and a bit of walk around Singapore.

We returned around 11:30PM and headed to bed.  We woke up in the morning, checked out, and headed to the airport to check-in for our flight to Tokyo!

Final Thoughts:
This was probably the best hotel overnight we've ever had.  The price (free) was certainly worth it.  The room was comfortable, super clean, new, and modern.  Getting a cab into Singapore was easy and you're only 15-20 minutes away without traffic.  I'd highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for an overnight or just a short stay in Singapore.
