We entered the terminal at Narita and searched for the first class check-in.  As in many airports, check-in desks are arranged in alphabetical order.  We found the economy and business class check-in desks but had to ask to find the first class check-in which is actually located in row "Z" all the way to the right after entering the terminal.

We proceeded through the double doors and were assisted by a friendly agent.

Bags were checked and we headed through security and immigration.  We did a bit of shopping and eventually found the ANA Suite Lounge.  We've flown through NRT a number of times and visited both the first (suite) and business class lounges.  I prefer the first class lounge setup while Emily prefers the business class lounge given the more expansive food selection.

At the end of the day, there's not a discernible difference between the two.  The Suite Lounge has better booze, more attentive service, and less people.

There are several seating areas.

There is a self serve bar along with self serve food.

A noodle bar.

I like it for view of the tarmac.

But beyond that, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to spend extra time in the lounge.

We spent an hour or so relaxing, watching airport operations, and had a couple of drinks.  Soon enough, it was time to head down to gate 52 to board our waiting 777-300ER for the ride to San Francisco!
